Update: Jan 2018
new pure-ftpd new installs now have a config file at:
/etc/pure-ftpd.conf
Changes can be added there.
By default pure-ftpd binds to port .
You can specify a different port by editing:
/etc/init.d/pure-ftpd
There should be 2 OPTIONS= lines.
Add a 3rd line that looks like this:
OPTIONS=”${OPTIONS} –bind 990“
and then restart pure-ftpd.
If you’re running a systemd OS (CentOS 7+, Debian 8+), then instead of the init.d script, you’d edit:
/usr/libexec/pureftpd_startscript
and add the OPTIONS line, just like above.
I am thankful for the article post.Looking forward to visit more.
